Thick stainless steel side and base panels, along with the external steel pillars, give this bed the strength to handle heavy loads without deforming. Then there’s also the rear gravity gate for smooth, even dumping. And if you need to load it up for anything other than dumping, all three bed sides fold down for the most efficient access. You don’t want that gravel load shifting, so there’s a steel cab guard shielding the rear window and back of the cab. The PTO-powered dump lift is designed for all-day dumping as it channels engine power directly into the dump system for faster, more controlled lifting, raising the bed up to 50 degrees for a clean, complete tip every time.
Manual 5-speed transmission with hi-lo range and locking rear diff – This HD Dump uses the 5-speed manual setup with a hi-lo range selector, giving you low-end torque for controlled ascents and descents, plus higher gearing for open gravel tracks. The rear locking differential ensures the wheel with the better purchase stays engaged when traction drops, keeping you moving through mud or snow. Just note that the PTO mechanism operates only when the vehicle is stationary because it is drawing its power directly from the engine.
